Emma Fitzpatrick is based in Leicester and has worked in the design industry both in Ireland and the UK. Since 2013, she has focused on developing her fine art practice, drawing influence from architecture, landscape and people.
Apart from drawing faces, she has become increasingly interested in drawing streetscapes to capture moments in time while also acknowledging the complex web of a city’s history and future due to the architecture, people and communities.
She uses a variety of media including ink, watercolour, charcoal, pastel, lithography and etching. She has exhibited regionally within the East Midlands, Society of Women Artists Annual Exhibition and recently in the RBSA's The Prize exhibition.
Emma is a member of the Leicester Society of Artists, Leicester Print Workshop, Leicester Sketch Club, and Urban Sketchers Leicester group.
